 Dr Alabi Still in the race, urges massive turnout Dr. Alabi Oluwatoyin Tajudeen, a frontline governorship aspirant of the All Progressiv es Congress (APC), on Thursday embarked on a sensitisation tour of APC members and stalwarts across Kwara South, urging party faithful to turnout en-masse,  remain calm, peaceful and hopeful ahead of the party primaries. Speaking with supporters and stakeholders in Omu-Aran, Oke-Onigbin and Igbaja, Dr. Alabi described the Kwara South agenda as very important, stressing that a greater Kwara is achievable through unity and collective commitment. The appointment was announced on Thursday by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga. According to the statement, Aina is a professor of Computer Engineering at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, with expertise in digital infrastructure, national examination systems and institutional reforms.  Saliu Mustapha disowns purported APC senatorial aspirants’ list The camp of Senator Saliu Mustapha has dismissed as fake and misleading a purported list of aspirants in the ongoing APC Senatorial Primary Elections currently circulating on some platforms. In a statement issued on Monday by the Media Assistant to the Senator, Nasif Sholagberu, the document containing the name of Senator Saliu Mustapha as an aspirant for the Senate seat was described as “forged, fake, misleading and of no consequence.” The statement clarified that Senator Mustapha officially obtained APC nomination forms to contest for the governorship of Kwara State in the 2027 General Elections, noting that the process was carried out openly and publicly before party leaders, stakeholders, supporters and members of the public.
