In a statement issued on Monday by the Media Assistant to the Senator, Nasif Sholagberu, the document containing the name of Senator Saliu Mustapha as an aspirant for the Senate seat was described as “forged, fake, misleading and of no consequence.” The statement clarified that Senator Mustapha officially obtained APC nomination forms to contest for the governorship of Kwara State in the 2027 General Elections, noting that the process was carried out openly and publicly before party leaders, stakeholders, supporters and members of the public.
