 SENATOR SALIU MUSTAPHA CALLS FOR A FREE, FAIR AND CREDIBLE 2026 APC GOVERNORSHIP PRIMARY IN KWARA STATE

The Senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial District, Senator Saliu Mustapha, has commended members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), particularly his loyalists and supporters, for their steadfastness, maturity, and commitment throughout the recently concluded primaries into the National Assembly and State House of Assembly.


While acknowledging that there is still room for improvement in aspects of the process, he praised the efforts made to ensure the successful conduct of the primaries.


As the party commences its gubernatorial primary election today, Senator Mustapha called on all his supporters and APC faithful across the state to troop out en masse to peacefully exercise their democratic rights as bonafide members of the party, armed with their valid membership cards and without fear or intimidation.


He urged party members to remain orderly, disciplined, peaceful, and resolute throughout the duration of the exercise, stressing that the APC remains the only platform capable of sustaining progressive governance and delivering democratic dividends to the people.


Senator Mustapha also commended security agencies, officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and other relevant stakeholders currently monitoring the process for their professionalism and dedication towards ensuring a peaceful and credible exercise.


He finally urged all party faithful to place the unity, stability, and future of the APC above every personal interest, noting that the collective strength of the party remains paramount to sustaining its dominance and success in Kwara State and beyond.
