He acknowledged the sacrifices and commitment of Nigerian workers, noting that despite economic challenges, they continue to demonstrate professionalism and patriotism in their various fields.

“Today, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and dignity of labour. Our workers remain the foundation upon which sustainable development is built,” he said.

Dr. Alabi emphasized the need for policies that prioritize workers’ welfare, fair remuneration, safe working conditions, and opportunities for growth and advancement.

He stressed that a productive workforce is essential to achieving economic stability and long-term prosperity, calling for stronger collaboration between government, employers, and labour unions.

According to him, “A society that values its workers must invest in their well-being, empower their potential, and create an environment where hard work is rewarded.”

The governorship hopeful also highlighted the importance of skills development, innovation, and youth engagement, noting that the future of work demands adaptability and continuous learning.

He urged workers to remain committed to excellence and integrity, while also calling on leaders at all levels to uphold policies that promote inclusiveness, job creation, and economic empowerment.
