 AOT Attributes Successful APC Screening Outing to Divine Grace, lauds APC Cttee's Professionalism

The political momentum surrounding the governorship ambition of Dr. Alabi Oluwatoyin  Tajudeen (AOT) received another major boost following what supporters have described as a remarkable outing at a high-level screening exercise, where the governorship-hopeful reportedly earned admiration from members of the panel after delivering what was regarded as an outstanding presentation.

Dr. Alabi, while reflecting on the exercise, attributed the successful outcome entirely to Divine grace, expressing gratitude to God for what he called a memorable and fulfilling moment in his political journey.

The screening panel, chaired by Dr. Ben Nwoye, was said to have carefully reviewed the aspirant’s credentials and listened attentively as he articulated his vision, leadership philosophy, and preparedness for public office.

According to AOT, the atmosphere within the screening hall changed significantly as members of the committee engaged with his presentation, which combined policy depth, practical experience, and what observers described as confident delivery.

“It can only be God. The committee took one look at my credentials and listened with rapt attention to my presentation, and it was over,” he stated.

In what has since become a talking point among supporters and political associates, Dr. Alabi disclosed that he was eventually asked to take a bow before the committee. 

A symbolic gesture he interpreted as a reflection of the panel’s appreciation for the quality of his submissions and presentation.

“I was asked to take a bow as the whole committee could not hide their joy and respect for an excellent presentation and sound delivery. To God alone be all the glory,” he added.

Political analysts note that screening exercises of such nature are often rigorous and designed to test not only the academic and professional background of aspirants but also their depth of understanding, leadership orientation, communication ability, and readiness for governance.

For many of AOT’s supporters, the outcome further reinforces his growing image as a candidate seeking to distinguish himself through competence, preparation, and policy-based engagement rather than mere political rhetoric.

Over the past months, Dr. Alabi has consistently projected himself as a reform-minded figure with strong roots in the private sector, repeatedly emphasising that his over four decades of professional experience have equipped him with the administrative discipline and strategic insight needed to reposition Kwara State.

His interventions on governance, security, education, tourism, and economic development have continued to shape conversations within political circles, especially among those advocating for leadership driven by planning, innovation, and measurable impact.

Observers also believe the reported reception at the screening may further strengthen his political standing ahead of the 2027 governorship contest, particularly at a time when attention is increasingly shifting toward aspirants perceived to possess both intellectual depth and administrative capacity.
