Kwara Central Senator urges unity, hope as Christians mark Easter

The Senator representing Kwara Central in the National Assembly, Saliu Mustapha, has congratulated the Christian community on the occasion of Easter, urging Nigerians to embrace the spirit of sacrifice, love, and renewal that defines the season.


In a statement issued at the weekend by his media aide, Nasif Sholagberu, Senator Mustapha encouraged Christians to reflect the lessons of Easter in their daily lives, particularly by promoting peace, tolerance, and compassion across religious and ethnic lines.


He emphasized that Easter symbolizes hope and victory over adversity, noting that such values are critical at a time when the nation is navigating social and economic challenges.


The lawmaker prayed for enduring unity, love, and peace across the country, while also calling on citizens to support government efforts aimed at national development.


According to him, Nigeria is on a path to recovery, expressing optimism that ongoing policies by the federal government will soon ease economic pressures and improve the living conditions of citizens.


Mustapha reaffirmed his commitment to serving the people of Kwara Central and contributing to initiatives that foster sustainable growth and inclusive development.


He urged Nigerians to remain steadfast, hopeful, and united, stressing that with collective effort and faith, the country will overcome its current challenges and emerge stronger.
