 AOT Hails APC Convention, Tinubu’s Re-election as Testament to Party Unity, Public Confidence

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State, Dr. Alabi Oluwatoyin Tajudeen (AOT), has lauded the successful conduct of the party’s National Convention and moves towards the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing both developments as clear indications of unity within the ruling party and sustained public confidence in his leadership.


In a statement issued on Thursday, Dr. Alabi commended party stakeholders, delegates, and members across the country for what he termed a “peaceful, well-coordinated, and transparent convention,” noting that the exercise further strengthened the democratic credentials of the APC.


According to him, the overwhelming support for President Tinubu at the convention reflects widespread acceptance of his leadership style and the administration’s policy direction.


“The successful national convention of our great party is a testament to the maturity of the APC as a political institution.


It underscores our collective resolve to uphold internal democracy and foster unity at all levels,” he said.


Alabi added that President Tinubu’s re-election was not only well-deserved but also a reaffirmation of Nigerians’ trust in his capacity to steer the country toward economic recovery, stability, and inclusive growth.


He noted that despite prevailing socio-economic challenges, the Tinubu administration has demonstrated courage and vision in implementing reforms aimed at repositioning the nation.


“President Tinubu has shown boldness in tackling long-standing structural issues in our economy. His re-election will be a clear endorsement of his reform-driven agenda and a call for greater support from all Nigerians,” Alabi stated.


The APC stalwart further urged party members to remain united and committed to the ideals of the party, emphasising the need to close ranks and work collectively for the progress of the nation.


He also called on opposition parties to play constructive roles in deepening democracy, stressing that national development requires collaboration beyond political differences.


Dr. Alabi reaffirmed his loyalty to the APC and pledged continued support for President Tinubu’s administration, expressing optimism that the country would witness significant transformation in the coming years.


“The task ahead requires unity, sacrifice, and patriotism. With sustained commitment and the support of Nigerians, I am confident that our nation will achieve greater heights under President Tinubu’s leadership,” he added.
