The ublic Relations Officer to the Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Abdulazeez Arowona, has praised his alma mater, the University of Ilorin, for laying the foundation for his achievements. In an interview with Unilorin 89.3fm, anchored by the Station Manager, Mr. Idris Alooma, Dr. Arowona credited Unilorin with grooming him into the person he is today.

Dr. Arowona described working with the Emir of Ilorin Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, CFR, as effortless, citing the monarch's peaceful nature and avoidance of controversy. He said the experience has brought benefits not only to himself nor those around the Emir, but also to the nation at large.
The press secretary revealed that his book, "The Royal Stool," aimed to leave a lasting legacy and provide valuable insights for researchers. His latest book, "Spiritual Orator," honors the late Chief Imam of Ilorin, Alh. (Dr.) Muhammad Basheer Soliu, OON, and reflects his passion for scholarship and heritage preservation.
Dr. Arowona holds several traditional titles, including Shettima of Okuta Emirate and Chikansoro Tangale, and has received various professional certifications and memberships.
