As Muslims across Kwara State join the global Ummah in welcoming the holy month of Ramadan, Dr Oluwatoyin Tajudeen Alabi has extended warm greetings and heartfelt prayers to all faithful in the state.

In a statement released by his media team, Dr Alabi congratulated Muslims on the sighting of the crescent moon, marking the commencement of the sacred month of fasting, prayer, and reflection.

“As the crescent moon is sighted, I pray that Allah showers you and your families with His countless blessings.

May this Ramadan bring you peace, spiritual growth, and a heart full of gratitude,” he said.

He described Ramadan as a sacred period of renewed faith, self-discipline, compassion, and generosity, urging Muslims to use the opportunity to strengthen their relationship with Allah and extend love and support to the less privileged in society.

Dr Alabi further encouraged unity, peaceful coexistence, and collective prayers for continued progress and stability in the state and the nation at large.

“May this month be filled with light and barakah for you and your loved ones. May our fasting, prayers, and acts of charity be accepted, and may we emerge from this Ramadan spiritually uplifted and closer to one another,” he added.

He concluded by wishing all Muslims a peaceful and rewarding Ramadan.

Ramadan Mubarak.
