 Kwara Attack: Gov AbdulRazaq Briefs Tinubu, Praises Operation Savannah

Kwara State Governor and NGF Chairman, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, met with President Bola Tinubu at Aso Villa yesterday to discuss the recent attack on Woro community in Kaiama Local Government Area, where many people were killed.


After briefing the president, Governor AbdulRazaq addressed State House correspondents and praised President Tinubu's swift establishment of Operation Savannah Shield, saying it will restore peace to the region. The operation involves deploying troops to combat terrorist elements.

President Tinubu condemned the attack, describing it as "cowardly and barbaric," and directed the military to ensure peace and calm are restored.
