Adeyeye Inaugurates LG Renew Hope Ambassadors in Oyo State

A star-studded event unfolded at the APC state Secretariat in Ibadan, Oyo State, as party heavyweights gathered to witness the inauguration of the Local Government Renewed Hope Ambassadors by Zonal Ambassador, former Senator Dayo Adeyeye, National Chairman of South West Agenda (SWAGA) and Chairman of the Board, Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA). The occasion brought together serving and non-serving members of the National Assembly, including senators and honorables, past and present.

Notable attendees included the Hon. Minister of Power, Oloye Bayo Adelabu, former APC chairman Pa Akin Oke, and incumbent party Chairman Alhaji Olaide Abbas. The event was hosted by Oyo State Ambassador Sen. Teslim Kolawole Folarin, who welcomed the Zonal Ambassador and attendees, praising the nomination processes that led to the emergence of the ambassadors.

The Minister of Power Oloye Bayo Adelabu emphasized the crucial role of the ambassadors as foot soldiers for propagating the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stressing that their loyalty must be unquestionable. He urged them to work as true ambassadors, adhering to party rules and constitution.

The highlight of the event was the formal inauguration conducted by Zonal Ambassador Sen. Dayo Adeyeye, who admonished the ambassadors to work within the party's laid-down rules and constitution. The event was a testament to the party's commitment to its renewed hope agenda, with the ambassadors expected to drive this vision forward.

The Monday event at the APC secretariat, Oke Ado Ibadan, closely following the recent Osun State inauguration, was hosted by the Oyo State Ambassador, Sen. Teslim Kolawole Folarin, and had in attendance serving and non-serving members of the National Assembly, such as Sen. Sharafadeen Alli, Sen. AbdulFatai Buhari, Sen. Ayoade Adeseun, Hon. Bosun Oladele, National Secretary of SWAGA, former APC chairman, Pa Akin Oke, incumbent party Chairman, Alhaji Olaide Abbas, other party State and zonal Executive members, leaders from various Local governments, and the newly appointed Local Government Renewed Hope Ambassadors.

While welcoming the Zonal Ambassador, Sen. Dayo Adeyeye, and all attendees, Senator Teslim Folarin commended the nomination processes that led to the emergence of the Ambassadors and urged them to give a good account of themselves. The Minister of Power Oloye Adelabu  noted that they are foot soldiers for the propagation of the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and their loyalty must be unquestionable. He urged them to work as true ambassadors. The high point of the event was the formal inauguration conducted by Sen. Dayo Adeyeye, the National Chairman of South West Agenda for Asiwaju (SWAGA) and Chairman of the Board of Nigerian Ports Authority, who admonished them to work within the party's laid-down rules and constitution and not as parallel party executives. On the Zonal Ambassador's team were Hon. Bosun Oladele, Hon. Adeyemi Adeyinka, Hon. Yekeen Popoola, and Barr. Omonijo Adebanjo.
