The Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari Skills Acquisition Hub is a flagship project of IEDPU, providing Ilorin Emirate's youth with skills and opportunities for a brighter future. Alhaji Abdumalik's vision for empowerment is transforming lives and communities. He believes that education is key to unlocking the full potential of Ilorin Emirate, and has made significant investments in education.

As the general election approaches, Alhaji Abdumalik called on politicians and their supporters to play by the rules, emphasising that "politicians don't fight, it's their followers that must be cautioned." He urges all stakeholders to prioritize the peace and stability of Ilorin Emirate, ensuring that the emirate remains a haven for all.


Alhaji Abdumalik's IEDPU executives' commitment to unity and progress has made him a beloved leader in Ilorin Emirate. The establishment of the Ilorin Emirate Security Consultative Council, replicated in all 5 local governments of the Emirate, is a testament to Alhaji Abdumalik led administration's  commitment to security and stability. On security Government too has established Operation Savannah Shield, forest guards, and existing Operation Harmony are also part of the security measures in place. The president has also collaborated with security agencies to ensure the safety of citizens, and has advised the government on ways to improve security in the emirate and beyond.

Alhaji Abdumalik has affirmed the good relationship between IEDPU and the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), crediting the union's involvement in influencing the establishment of the institution. He praised the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, for his quality leadership, and assured continued support for the University's development.


The IEDPU President commended UNILORIN FM radio station for strengthening the relationship between the union, town, and university, saying it has done a commendable job in promoting unity and progress.



Alhaji Abdumalik expressed gratitude to the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulraman Abdulrasaq,who is also the Sardauna of Ilorin and Chairman Governor's Forum, Senator Saliu Mustapha, Ambassador Yahyah Seriki, Senior Apostle Oluwole Awotuyi (Tuyil), and others for their unwavering support for the Union.


Alhaji Abdumalik's agenda for his second term includes equipping the Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari Skills Acquisition Hub, completing the mosque, and making the hub operational. He seeks the unity of executive members, support of the people, and God's guidance.
