KAM Holding GMD Mourns Demise of Chief Imam of Ilorin, Extends Condolences to Emir, Emirate
The Group Managing Director, Management, and staff of KAM Holding Nig Ltd have received with deep sadness the news of the death of the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Saliu, who died on Monday, January 19, 2026, in Abuja.
In a statement signed by Dr. Kamoru Yusuf, GMD KAM Holdings, the company extended its sincere condolences to the Emir of Ilorin, the Ilorin Emirate Council, the family of the deceased, and the entire Muslim community of Ilorin over the painful loss.
The company described the late Chief Imam as a revered Islamic scholar and spiritual leader whose life was marked by devotion to Allah, upright conduct, and unwavering service to the people. KAM Holding noted that the passing of Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Saliu has created a significant void in the religious life of Ilorin, as he was widely respected for his guidance, humility, and commitment to peace.
The Management prayed that Allah, in His mercy, forgives the shortcomings of the departed cleric, rewards his good deeds abundantly, and grants him Al-Jannah Firdaus. Prayers were also offered for strength and patience for the Emir of Ilorin, the bereaved family, and the Muslim Ummah.
