AAT University Founder Condoles Emir Over Death of Ilorin Chief Imam 

The Founder and Chancellor of AbdulRasaq Abubakar Toyin University (AATU), Alhaji AbdulRasaq Abubakar Toyin, has expressed condolences to the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, over the death of the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Saliu.


In a statement signed by Alhaji Toyin himself, AATU described Sheikh Saliu's demise as a profound loss to Ilorin Emirate, the Muslim Ummah, and society. The statement highlighted his piety, scholarship, humility, and commitment to peace and harmony.


AATU joins Ilorin Emirate in honouring Sheikh Saliu's legacy, praying that Allah grants him Al-Jannatul Firdaus and comforts his family and the Ilorin community. "May Allah grant all those he left behind the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss and continue to uphold the values of faith, unity, and service which he so nobly exemplified," the statement concluded.
